Born from my lifelong love of history, Lamplight Research’s goal is to connect you with the past, whether it is through our blog posts, helping you discover your own history or history you are curious about, I am here to help.
As a kid, history was my favorite subject in school and as an adult, this passion for learning and understanding about events and people of the past never left me. After many years of working in healthcare and compliance, I decided to follow this passion and focus my career on history. I returned to college and earned a bachelor’s degree in history and then a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science with a concentration on Archives. Today, I work as an Archivist, which I love because it allows me to preserve the past for future generations. However, my true love of history lies in researching and writing.
Lamplight Research comes from this love of research and writing. Through my blog, I hope to share some of the research and writing that I have previously completed and my current research and history travel adventures. I would also love to connect you to your history, whatever it might be.
